Head Lice Removal & Treatment
- Treatment costs ($180-$270). Starting from $180 for mild cases/short hair and up to $270 for heavy cases &/or long & thick hair.
- Treatment time and cost will vary depending on the client's hair type and level of infestation
There are 3 components to the service:
- Step 1: A heat treatment using our exclusive medical device, to dehydrate and kill lice and eggs
- Step 2: Professional condition comb out to physically remove lice and eggs
- Step 3: Apply a pesticide free topical rinse treatment, works to suffocate any remaining lice and eggs (as lice can move around during heat treatment). The topical rinse will be left on the hair for 15 minutes and needs to be washed out at home.
We offer a 14 day guarantee for our Signature Treatment.
As part of this guarantee we ask you to perform a comb out in 10 days time, this can be done at home or we offer a follow up comb out service starting at $100.
This is for cosmetic purposes only and any stray eggs or dead bugs left behind after treatment are NOT viable.
Signature Treatment
- Treatment costs $150 for up to 45 minutes of treatment
There are 2 components to the service:
- Step 1: A heat treatment using our exclusive medical device, to dehydrate and lice lice and eggs.
- Step 2: Apply a pesticide free topical rinse treatment, works to suffocate any remaining lice and eggs (as lice can move around during heat treatment). The topical rinse will be left on hair for 15 minutes and needs to be washed out at home.
We DO NOT offer a guarantee for the Express Treatment. This option is designed for those who want the professional AirAlle treatment but feel they can handle the comb-out procedure themselves. We only recommend this option for mild cases.
If you think an express treatment is suited to your case, please either call us to book or book in online for a Signature Treatment and indicate on the prescreening form your preference. Please also discuss with the technician during the initial head check.
Express Treatment - with heat
- Treatment costs start from $150 (first consult)/$135 (2nd treatment).
- Treatment time and cost may vary depending on the client's hair type and level of infestation.
- A second treatment is required for this service regardless of the severity of the case.

Express Treatment - with combing, no heat

** PLEASE NOTE **
- We can only offer the AirAlle heat treatment to children aged 4 years and over. If your child is under 4 years, they may do the Express Treatment (with combing, no heat)
- Please arrive for the treatment with clean and dry hair, free from any residue of other products or treatments
- Please ensure hair can be combed through with a regular comb, free from large tangles, dreadlocks, hair extensions, etc
- For heavily infested or extreme cases, to ensure the treatment is effective we require 2 sittings of treatment so it can be guaranteed
- Please confirm with certainty that head lice are present before booking a treatment. We do offer head checks if you are unsure. In the event that you choose not to proceed with treatment due to no eggs/lice being detected, there will be a $50 inconvenience fee charged to cover staff and time slots being unavailable to other clients. We appreciate your understanding.
- If we do NOT detect eggs or lice during a head check we can not guarantee that there is not an infestation and it may just be the beginning of an infestation. We recommend a precautionary treatment or thorough conditioner comb out if you have been exposed to someone with head lice following on from your head check.
